Bresnahan Takes Home the Double!

Gene Bresnahan won an unusual Daily Double in 1968 at Scarborough Downs in Maine. After a full day of racing at Rockingham Park, he rode two races at Scarborough. “It was about the only race the 2nd horse won”, recalls Gene. “I figured he was afraid of the other horses, so I drove him out in front at the gate, and he just ran away from the field. We held and won both races by a neck. It was so foggy the fans couldn't see us until we came across the wire!"
